Therapeutic Art Session
Embark on a journey of self-inquiry through tapping into your inner creative source and heal through art.
-
Together, we will identify an aspect of your life that you would like to explore in order to find deeper meaning. For example, you may like to explore the grief surrounding the loss of a loved one, or you may like to better understand your inhibitions around freely expressing yourself. I will companion you on an art making journey as we explore different mediums of art and pause for moments of reflection and contemplation before arriving at a point where you realise an experiential shift in perspective around this topic. A session may involve creating a painting, writing a poem, playing an instrument, performing a movement sequence, or dialoguing, and is always led by you and whichever modalities you feel comfortable exploring. Prior experience with art making is not necessary, and it is most often those with no experience who have the most profound shifts, as they find a safe space to reconnect with their own inner source of creativity.

“I was fortunate enough to have Izzy companion me during my process of inquiry in multiple Art Therapy sessions. She always relates with warmth and openness. As Izzy facilitates, she has the ability to compassionately sit alongside her clients within their process, whilst also remaining curious to it. I was always struck by how held I felt with Izzy, how intuitively she navigates and facilitates, and the thoughtful insights she provided..”
